Collin remained silent for a few dragging moments after she replied to his greet, as if he were choosing his words carefully. The two of them both knew that it was rare that Collin ever stayed up late, seeing as he woke up practically at the crack of dawn to go to work. “Just…waiting for you,” he answered in his unsettling tone. He pushed himself off the couch, rising to his feet before taking a step forward and pecking her lips with an emptiness that he had never utilized before. “Have a good day at work?” Though his words weren’t fitful, the tediousness embedded in his voice spoke for itself.
He had strayed away from her, to flip on the light switch near the doorway that led into their small kitchen. With the new exposure, the seethe in his piercing orbs were revealed, and by the way they glared at her in a way that made it seem as if he were looking right through her, the tension in the small living room only intensified. He cracked a closed lip smile, though the gesture did not reach his eyes, indicating that the beam had not been sincere at all, but rather, a mock.
The male dropped his unnerving gaze, letting out a faint sigh, as he leaned his broad shoulder against the wall, while his hand pushed back his brown curls. Internally, he was battling with a sense of betrayal and hurt, that his companion had not mentioned the fact that she had had some prior ties with her boss. Another part of him was outraged, wondering what kinds of secrets she had kept from him in their two years of commitment. Truthfully, Collin could say he never kept anything from her, and to find that she was hiding information from him greatly disturbed him. Why wouldn’t she tell him?
If the small girl wasn’t sure before that something was wrong between the two of them, she definitely was now. Even just the manner in which Collin approached her and gently pecked her lips seemed.. almost eerie. Biting her lip, she rose an eyebrow at him. He had been waiting for her? What reason would he have to stay up this late to wait for her to get home? It didn’t quite make sense. “Uh, I guess,” she started, figuring that maybe if she just went along with his questions the awkwardness would dissolve between them, “We were really busy. Saturdays are usually insane and it was my first Saturday night working there,” She offered a tiny smile and shrugged, “It was kind of a big deal.”
Had she known what this whole thing was about initially, Sam would’ve been much quicker to try and resolve the situation. Not to mention, less confused. Matt was just her friend from high school. The fact that they had dated for 7 or 8 months was quite irrelevant as far as she was concerned. But, clearly Collin didn’t feel that same way. As the light flipped on in the kitchen, she could finally see the extent of the expression that graced his rugged features. In the dimness from before he had seemed agitated, but in this full-fledged light beaming from the kitchen he looked.. livid. She nearly shuddered at his mocking smirk. Instantly, she knitted her eyebrows together in confusion this had progressed too much for her to still be confused.
"Is something wrong, baby?" she asked hesitantly. Somewhere deep inside, she felt like she was essentially poking the bear. At any moment he could simply erupt for god knows what reasons. "You seem.. a little mad." She took another cautious step toward the taller boy, unsure of whether or not it would be safe to touch him. Finally, she simply decided to run her hand through her own hair and hold it against the back of her neck for a moment. She could feel the anxiety bubbling inside of her and the tension quickly filling the room. It was almost unbearable.
Collin had arrived to the apartment from work later than usual that evening, and wasn’t too surprised at Sam’s absence. After all, her new job as a bartender required her to work later hours, something that Collin despised. With heavy eyes, he moved around the apartment accordingly as he set down his satchel and jacket, his keys, and then finally, his phone. Upon setting it down, the screen of the smartphone illuminated, revealing that he had somehow missed a call. Picking up the cellular device in his hands, his irises squinted as he read the name that identified the caller. Mason. His best friend. What had he wanted?
The brunet had tapped on the redial button before holding the iPhone up to his ear. In the short time that the rings passed by, Collin had made his way into the kitchen. “Collin?” Mason’s voice on the other end answered. “Yeah, it’s me. How’s it going, everything alright?” Collin had reached for a bright red apple sitting in the basket, and opened a drawer to pull out a knife. “Collin, I have something to tell you…” Unmoved, Collin replied, “And what’s that?” Collin poked his apple with the spear point as he held the phone between his ear and shoulder. “It’s Sam…I hear she’s a bartender now?” Collin’s entire being tensed at the mention of his significant other. He always became defensive in times that someone spoke negatively of her. And by the sounds of it, Collin was in for some unsettling news. “Yes, what happened?” A deep sigh was heard at the other end of the phone, before Mason spoke again, “I know the owner of the bar. Apparently, she has some kind of history with him, which is how she got the job in the first place…”
Collin had viciously slammed the cutting utensil through the apple, creating a loud thud. “Collin, are you okay? What happened?” At the realization of the sudden surge of rage that had came over him, he let go off the bladed instrument. “Nothing…thanks, man.” His tone has significantly fallen flat, implying his displeased attitude toward the news. “No problem, I’m sorry to have to tell you…just looking out for you.” Collin had nodded, before realizing that Mason couldn’t see him, “Yeah.” The male had ended the call, a tightness forming in the pit of his stomach that had made him lose his appetite.
Sam hadn’t returned until roughly an hour or so later. And when she did walk in through the door, she was met by Collin, who was motionlessly sitting on their living room couch. Through the dimly lit room, Collin’s azure hues pressed at her, following her every moment. “Hi, sweetheart.” He muttered, clarifying that he was indeed awake. He hadn’t changed from his business attire, broadcasting that he hadn’t moved from his position on the couch for quite some time.
Her third official day working at the bar, and Sam was already a pro. She’d technically been working there for about a week now, but the first couple of days she was only training. By now, though, no one could tell the difference between her and the peppy, blonde girl next to her who’d worked there for months. And, what was more? She was actually enjoying herself! It was a miracle that she’d found a decent job that she was having fun with. The atmosphere was great, the people were entertaining, and her co-workers were so fun and down to earth. It seemed at this point that she’d actually pulled it off. The job hunt was a success. Congrats, Sammy, she thought, You’ve finally done something right.
Saturdays were one of the busiest nights of the week for a bartender. That was proving to be 100% true for the petite girl. It was her first Saturday at the bar and Sam was finding herself a bit in over her head to say the least. There were demanding guests at the bar and rowdy drunks everywhere you looked. It was a bit of a disaster at first, but as the night wore on she found herself catching on and slowly getting the hang of things just as she had nights before. It was as if once she got into her groove, she was set and there was no more messing up beyond that point. No doubt, she was proud of herself. She had every right to feel accomplished.
By the time the bar finally closed, Sam was beyond ready to get out of there, go home and relax. That’s right; The new girl’s first Saturday night and they made her work the closing shift. It was a little bit ridiculous to be honest, but she had survived nonetheless! Unscathed, at that. She yelled a few good byes to her fellow bartenders and shot a small wave at the boss, Matt, before hurrying out the door. Ironically, she’d went to high school with the guy. He was Collin’s age and they had even dated when Sam was a Sophomore and Matt was a Senior. Obviously times had changed and it had just been a little high school fling. But, hey! That didn’t mean she couldn’t use her connections to get herself a stable job. They’d ended up staying friends and she was lucky to have someone who could pull strings for her.
By the time she got home it was around 1am and she figured Collin would already be asleep in bed. She was surprised to find him sitting on the couch, still in his work clothes. Had he came home and fallen asleep right there on the living room sofa? Her theory diminished as he spoke suddenly, noticing that the brunette had entered their apartment. There was an odd tone behind his voice that she took note of immediately. Something just seemed… off. “Hi, babe.. Uh, what’re you doing still in your work clothes? Long day?” She cocked her head to the side a bit as she spoke, tossing her purse on the small entry way table before heading towards her boyfriend. He seemed tense. What was going on?
Their nights of intimacy varied depending on the mood. For example, sometimes it was sweet and passionate, where the two touched one another with the uttermost gentleness and awe. And then there were nights like these, where the two were electrified, buzzing with lust for the other to the point where their natural aggression was revealed. It was as if they always were on the same page, and though Collin noted the surprise in Sam, he knew the stun quickly merged into excitement. He pulled his lips away with a pop of his mouth, his desire-filled hues examining the dark spot he had left behind. Eyes flicking up to meet hers, his crooked smirk pulled at his lips. “You’re marked,” he said simply, an inside joke between the two when they had successfully managed to leave love marks behind. His lips pressed to her shoulder, resuming the trail of kisses as one of his hands reached up to pull the strap of her lacey bra down. A part of him didn’t want to remove the lingerie at all, for it was stunning on her. But, another part of him never grew tired of seeing her exposed body.
A small giggle bubbled up out of Sam’s throat when Collin stated that she was marked followed by a playful eye roll. Returning his smirk, she bit her lip as he continued to move his full lips across her skin. It was a familiar feeling that she could never get enough of. Sam had been with a decent amount of guys in her lifetime, but none had ever known her as well as Collin. He knew each little step that would get her increasingly hot and bothered and never failed the perform each task as if he were moving down a check list. And, it didn’t hurt that they’d been together so long. She’d noticed that really knowing someone to the point of having inside jokes and things like that made being intimate a million times more fun and more pleasurable. With a soft sigh, she shrugged the bra strap off of her shoulder and tugged gently with the hand that was still tangled in his hair. “I want you..” she whispered impatiently as they made eye contact once again.
At the sighs of pleasure that escaped from her plump lips, Collin let out a muffled chuckle against her heated neck. He was further encouraged by the hand that had come to slide into his curly locks, and pulled away from her to spin her so that she faced him. With a simper gracing his lips, he scooped her up into his brawny arms in a swift motion. He took a few strides before slamming her against the wall. His method of lovemaking resembled his personality. You never knew which side of him you’d get, and even what you thought you had it figured out, he’d switch gears. His hot mouth returned to the sensitive skin on her neck, as his large loving hands gradually moved along the fabric of her stockings. He took a small portion of excess skin from her neck into his mouth, nibbling on it in hopes to mark her, to claim her as his.
When you initially start dating someone, the sex can be a little up in the air. Sure, your significant other could be an exceptionally great partner who has a bit of experience when it comes to being intimate, but a few fumbles are inevitable. After a few years, however, you get to learn every little thing about this person you’re so explicit with. It becomes second nature for each party to know exactly where to touch you and also when and how. That’s how it was for Sam and Collin. At this point, they were just so in tune with each other that every little move was calculated without even thinking about it. That’s what made the sauciness of this Valentine’s night so exciting. They were mixing things up just a bit. Collin’s aggression continued to come out in random bursts and it was honestly turning Sam on to no end. When she felt her back slam against the wall, the brunette let out a small squeak before she was once again overcome by the feeling of his mouth against her neck. Instinctively, she wrapped her lean legs around his waist and her arms around his shoulders loosely. As the tenderness he was showing to her neck faded, so did the careful quietness of her whimpers. With each bite and suck, Sam continued to let out little moans and groans instead of hushed sighs.
A satisfied smile pulled at the corners of his lips as they pressed roughly against hers. The hand that wrapped around her waist had loosened to wander, his digits moving across her flat stomach, in admiration. Truthfully, Collin had never met someone so flaw free, so perfectly built for him. He loved every inch of her, and he was certain that Sam would never forget it. The male’s lips had dragged down to her jawline, before he began to press heated kisses to her thin neck. Collin was very well aware of her sweet spot, for he always got a positive reaction from the particular area at the back of her neck and he used his knowledge to his advantage. He pulled back to press his lips to the nape of her neck, while his hands continued to caress her body, her shapely form something he’d never grow tired of fondling.
The kisses were fierce and urgent between the two of them. Honestly, Sam knew that these were their best intimate moments. The times when the couple was truly just overcome by passion made for the greatest sexual encounters. Panting slightly, she tipped her head up a bit as Collin kissed down her jaw. He was headed for that particular spot on her neck, she could tell. Biting her lip for a moment, she tried not to react too strongly just yet, but there was really no use. After a moment, she found little whimpers escaping her throat. The sounds of pure bliss were something Sam had become quite familiar with while being with Collin. What could she say; he was a great lover. Wanting more and more, she licked her lips and tangled a hand in his hair as he kissed her neck and massaged her body. He seemed to be getting more gentle and more safe than he had initially seemed. His reaction to her practically offering herself up to him had been quite strong and now that it was dying down, she was confused again as to how this night would end. Then again, she wasn’t complaining. Regardless of the tone of their encounters, Collin knew exactly how to get her going.
Collin had always wondered if the two were specifically made for one another. Everything about them just seemed to fit the other. Their hands, their height, their bodies, their lips. It was far too much of a coincidence for Collin not to think so. He contemplated as his lips moved softly against hers for a few moments. By pulling away, he broke the kiss. He rested his stubbly chin on her small shoulder, his lustful peepers examined her facial features as his free hand slowly made its way over her shoulder. He knew very well that the minimal roughness of his fingertips against her delicate flesh was successful in leaving a trail of goosebumps behind. The corners of his lips curled once he had uttered some kind of response from her.
Completely shifting gears, he closed any remaining space between them, so that his hips were pressed to her perfectly round bottom. The hand that had teasingly ran up her skin now moved to cup one of her breasts, but before doing so, he had gently turned her face towards him again, but his eager mouth did not display the same amount of gentleness. His lips crashed into hers, hungrily kissing the plump lips that he adored so much. He knew that that night would be one that the two would wake up in the morning smiling about, after all, she had started it.
He knew just what he was doing. In fact, they both knew that he knew what he was doing. As his fingers grazed across her tanned skin, she could feel the connection moments after his hand had continued on. The shivers radiated just under the surface of her skin and she had to focus to keep herself from getting lost in his touch right away. She sighed audibly and licked her lips before, in and instant, everything shifted. Quickly, she could feel him against her and was aware of every bit of his body that was pressed against hers. After he turned her to face him, she was caught off guard by his lips suddenly melting back into hers. She let out a tiny whimper and kissed him back, trying to match his aggression and force. She instinctively slipped her hand around to the back of his neck and held him against her. The hunger in his kissing was reciprocated in hers, but she didn’t think that would move things along any quicker. To be honest, she had a bad feeling that this really would go all night; something she hadn’t anticipated.
